Uppercussion Conundrums
Originating from analog and digital synthesis, acoustic drums, and field recordings, every single sound you hear in Conundrums was processed in a unique way, giving each kit its own distinct personality.
This Pack is loaded with a variety of vibrant kicks, snares, claps, and cymbals to provide all the pounding, cracking, and sizzle that your track may require. Alongside hard-hitting percussion Conundrums provides a wealth of melodic hits and dramatic stabs, as well as a selection of more experimental elements – from random metallic objects that rattle and snap to glitchy effects that bounce and shatter.
The sounds in each kit have been tweaked and tuned to play in perfect harmony with one another. This gives you the flexibility to create countless combinations for beatmaking, whether you use the preset drum kits, or build your own custom kits using individual the drum hits and one-shot samples.
Each kit is laid out across 16 Drum Rack pads, with the same eight Macro Controls assigned to each pad, letting you tailor your sound by adjusting effects like filter, pitch, attack, release, volume and the Glue Compressor. In addition, all the kits are similarly mapped, thus making it easy to smoothly switch from one to another while keeping the same beat pattern – perfect for playing and sequencing with Push.

The sounds in this pack originate from a wide range of unusual field recordings, studio experiments and digital deviations.
Built To Destroy
Monstrosities provides an extensive variety of kits to choose from. Every Drum Rack is composed of 16 powerful sounds, sculpted to form a unique kit with all of the vital sounds needed to start making destructive beats immediately. The kits are designed so that you can easily switch them out while keeping the same MIDI pattern – the drum positions and structure remain, but the sound changes dramatically. Each kit also comes with an inspiring Live clip that shows off its potential.
Sound Variety
The samples in Monstrosities come from drum kits ranging in condition from pristine to total junk, an array of found objects, old computer parts, broken instruments, appliances doing things they were not intended to, balls bouncing against surfaces, and just about anything else that makes a unique sound when hit.
In addition, a whole lot of drum synthesis and mangling effects from a variety of Max patches went into the making of Monstrosities. While some of the sounds were captured with a traditional drum recording setup, the majority were conceived with field recorders, contact mics, portable recording rigs and experimental mic placements.
For Use With Push
When using Push, each Monstrosities kit is fully contained within the 16 pads on the lower left portion of the controller. This allows all of the drum elements to be accessed while using the rest of the Push for sequencing and arranging. The drum mapping and macro control assignments are consistent throughout the kits, thus making switching kits seamless. The macros can also easily be automated by the Push drum sequencer for more dynamic and expressive patterns.

Taking the vast variety of sounds that the human voice is capable of, Vocalisms transforms these into an impressive range of vocal percussion: beatbox, shouts, buzzes, chirps, hard consonants, exaggerated vowels, phonetic variants and plenty of experimentation. Each kit of 16 samples includes standard drums such as kicks, snares, hi-hats, cymbals and toms, as well as melodic elements such as bass lip buzzes, tonal hits and other sung one shots.
The sounds in Vocalisms are 100% "orally originated", meaning that no non-vocal sounds were used. Even if it doesn't always sound like it, the human voice is the only sound source. Along with basic techniques such as layering, compression and pitch modification, various non-conventional methods of processing were also applied to the samples in order to provide an even broader palette of sounds.
