The History of UK House cannot be pondered without the mention of Dave Seaman, his contribution to the UK scene is probably immeasurable his 25 years of dedication to dance music from being one of the original movers and shakers of the scene as a mobile Dj to performing across the globe at all the top venues cannot be questioned.
Dave was the first editor for Mixmag and has remixed and produced for the likes of U2, Kylie, New Order, David Bowie and The Pet Shop Boys to name but a few. He has recorded over 25 Mix compilations for Radio 1 (Mix Essentials), Global Underground and Renaissance and has been the driving force behind Stress Records, Audio Therapy and Selador Recordings.
DJing is Dave’s first love and his longest lasting. It is his ear for melody and an untold passion for music plus of course the ability to shake, rattle and roll a crowd into a triumphant mass of up-stretched arms that’s catapulted him around the world. He’s played in seventy countries, countless fields and a selection of the world’s finest nightclubs over the last fifteen years.
