apShaper comes with five shaper engines ranging from adding harmonic distortion to freely configurable polygonal wavefolding.
The three filter bands come directly from apulSoft apQualizr2 and offer the same great quality without frequency squeezing at high frequencies. The included vari-slope low-pass filter type allows smooth slopes not possible by traditional filtering - ideal to gently shape signals with large amounts of distortion applied.
ALIASING SUPPRESSION
The waveshaper in apShaper uses sophisticated algorithms to reduce aliasing. It approximates continous-time (idealized analog) waveshaping using numerical integration. This reduces antialiasing more than traditional oversampling could, especially if the transfer curve is not smooth (wavefolding/bitcrushing).

Mac OS X 10.7 or newer.
Window Vista or newer.
32-bit and 64-bit systems and hosts are supported.
A host application compatible with AudioUnits or VST2/3 plugins or Pro Tools (>10.3.5, AAX)

After 5 minutes, random faded bursts of noise are added to the plugin output.
Presets cannot be exported/saved to the preset menu.
The first time the plugin is opened in a session, a demo description dialog is presented.
