Plughugger - Element 27 - это 11-я запись в нашей аппаратно-ориентированной серии звуковых наборов для Omnisphere, где мы фокусируемся на одном синтезаторе, записываем наиболее важные его аспекты и воссоздаем его характеристики в Omnisphere.
Element 27 представляет собой гибридную коллекцию аналоговых и цифровых звуков, основанную на синтезаторе Cobalt от Modal Electronics.
The Cobalt is an 8-voice virtual analog synthesizer with a very interesting oscillator section with oscillators (called algorithms in Modal-speak) going from traditional subtractive waveforms to experimental fractal(!) waveforms.
As a fun little bonus, we added a handful of highly processed speech synthesizer words and phrases.
BONUS SOUNDSET: Element of Sin
To fully embrace the dual nature of the Cobalt synthesizer, we also refocused on our favourite sounds and remade them using a Moog Modular sine wave from the internal synth engine. The result is an alternative soundset based on mellowness and basic tones.
